Beqtlez, a ramshackle garage band which started because of a 1 night jam and a misspelling. Primarily influenced by Grunge
and Metal, this quartet of young musicians has a unique sense of humor rarely found in other bands, and a sound to match.
Bassist Jesse 'Puma' Halstead adds pop sensibility and funk influences to the band, giving a slightly strange yet catchy beat
which is made perfect by Jordan 'Ripp' Ripley's jazz-style drumming. Guitarist John 'J' Halstead combines pop-punk and death
metal influences to create a truly ferocious yet catchy sound reminiscent of Nirvana but distinctly different. Completing
the quartet is vocalist Kyle 'Dirt' Connors, who adds diverse influences such as Hardcore, Classic Rock, Gothic, Emo, African,
and Art-Rock, ensuring that the band has a vein of the underground in it. The combination of J's Guitar style and Dirt's vocals
keep the band at street level, while Puma's bass and Ripp's drumming polish everything up giving Beqtlez a combined sound
of aggressive and unique yet catchy music.
